Star Wars Meets The Bradford House!

Last week, I was contacted by the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society in Duxbury, Massachusetts about using my Star Wars Alphabet Sampler for an informational panel.  The exhibition is at a historic house museum called the Bradford House.  I was pretty excited to be included because I love history museums.  I actually live about 5 minutes from a living-history museum (which was also one of my first jobs).  This exhibition also spoke to me because “As part of our goal to tell a women’s history story, we’re using 19th century samplers. However, we do want people to know how popular and fun they are and I would like your permission to use the image of the Star Wars cross-stitch to illustrate that.”

Pretty cool, huh?

Here’s the panel with my sampler at the bottom!
