Game of Thrones MASTERPIECE!

I’ve read all the books … I’ve seen all the episodes … I stopped visiting spoiler-y sites…. I’m ready for WINTER!  (In Westeros anyway…. not so much the season, ha!)  Game of Thrones is a BIG deal in my house.  My baby shower was Halloween themed, and I dressed up as Daenerys and had three baby dragons.  (The funny thing is that Daenerys isn’t even in my top three characters anymore, but I still enjoy her and her costumes!)  Last season was a bit of a blur since everything happened so fast, and I truly felt as if the season was super rushed.  Also, we have a tradition in my house where my best friends come over for a potluck Sunday dinner and shenanigans, but they missed half the season due to moving into a new home.  Needless to say, I became kind of obsessed with the dragons this year.  I have two Game of Thrones Alphabet patterns and various others, but I didn’t have one with THE DRAGONS.  I can’t even begin to tell you how long it took me to figure these suckers out!  I knew I wanted them to be GIGANTIC, and I had to do a lot of editing to figure out their scales and color combinations.  I’m really happy with them!  I have a special place in my heart for the Rhaegal outline.  Why yes, I took a screen shot photo from my phone and then enlarged it and traced it to get the wingspan just right!  The hardest part was figuring out where to put each character.  The motto of last season was “Everybody’s got BEEF!” so deciding where to put each character was truly a challenge.  Initially, I thought to put Jon and Daenerys next to each other (I REFUSE to call him Aegon… it’s too soon), but I liked the idea of putting characters on each side on a row based on claim to the throne.  Melisandre was the toughest person to put on here since she really belongs on Row Two since she resurrected Jon and Davos hates her, but I just had to keep her with the fire queen.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy my masterpiece!  I’m currently finishing up my X-men Alphabet and can’t wait to get started on stitching this one.
