After many weeks of stitching, stitching, stitching, I have finally finished my Game of Thrones Alphabet cross stitch pattern! Woo! I am so happy with how it looks. I have even asked some co-workers for their expert opinions to see if the characters look correct. (Here’s hoping the general public agrees, ha!) These iconic characters always change their look each season, so that was also a challenge to pick out what outfit I liked best. So yes, there is some artistic interpretation in here. I tried my best to get the colors just right. My favorites are Queen Margery Tyrell/Baratheon for the female and Jon Snow for the male. It was fun making the alphabet look as close to the Game of Thrones font as I could muster. Now I need to buy a gothic frame and get this on the wall next to my other prized Game of Thrones memorabilia: Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) and Rory McCann’s (The Hound) autographs!
Next project? I think I am going to make a Game of Thrones DEAD character alphabet! I am still unsure about Jon Snow being truly dead (I don’t care what the creators say), so he may not be on that one.
